what is this counseling discount?
In the state of Oklahoma (and I'm sure more states), if you complete at least 4 hours of counseling, either pastoral or soemthing through the Oklahoma Marriage Initiative workshops, they give you a $45 discount. Pretty good deal!
Of course, the likert-style counseling test at the beginning of counseling identifying relationship strengths and weaknesses cost $29, but it still adds up.
To get married at our church we were required to go through pastoral counseling. I actually enjoyed it!
