Another potential rubber?

For some reason emails like this freak me out in much the same way email/IMs from guys that want to randomly rub me do. I think it might be the rose at the end of the email? And the thing about this is that I have a link to my blog on my profile. IF I was to look up people and send them random emails that included roses on email #2, I would darn sure click on his or her "homepage" link to see what the person was about. And he would have had to read what? two posts to see that I would automatically post this. Start at the bottom and work your way back up.

Rachel,
Hello again. I was just out looking for some new friends and thought I would say hello. I will tell you a little about myself. I am 30, 5'9", brown hair, blue eyes, and about 200 lbs. I am divorced and have one son who lives with me full time (he is six). I have a degree in chemistry and work as an environmental chemist in the OKC area. I like the usual things, like movies, music, dining out, sports, camping, anything outdoors and meeting new people.
Would you like to know more? I would love to talk some more. Hope to hear from you soon,
Eric

I file this under overblown reaction to little rose emoticon.

What annoys me is purty girls that close with "Love, ____"

Alright...I'll grant you that it is a slightly overblown reaction. But it's happened so many times that I know where it'll go next. I'll keep emailing him and I nearly guarantee that by the next three something icky will happen. Let's watch, shall we?

And...if an ugly girl signed "Love, ___" would that annoy you, too?

Oddly enough, about 60% of guys sign "Love, ____" also.

Today I have done nothing but talk everyones ear off about what I did last night. I am very proud. Last night, my brother asked me to go to the bar with him. I was reluctant at first but he said that they where hosting a texas holdem tournament.

I love this game. I am very good at reading people. Not only in cards, but in general. I contribute this gift to being raised by women(mom, grandma, great aunt, that cute babysitter that I had a crush on).

Women(I think you'll agree here) are great at reading people and giving out signals with there body language. Experts by evolution if you will.

So with my acquired talent. Off to the bar I went. There where five tables and rufly 30 people. this first table I was at I knocked two people out. Then I got up to use the restroom on my way back this guy turns around runs into me and spilled his beer on me!

Smelling like a brewery. I was moved to another table. I was on fire! Okay lets set it up. In my hand I had "K" king "3" three. On the board there was

"Q" queen "J" jack "10" ten

with two more card that could come up. This woman who I read as not having a great hand all the sudden bets ALL IN. Pushing all her chips in. I knew she was bluffing me. I called her and the next cards were a "9" nine and "2" two.

I had a strait King high. I WON! Knocked her out and keep going. There where other great hands. I couldnt be stoped... Then I was. Because no matter how much skill you have there is always that luck factor.

I finished in third place and because of that I received a invitation to play in a bigger tournament on June 4th. The winner of that tournament goes to Las Vegas. With a free seat. A ten thousand dollar free seat!

Desperate is what I thought, too. BKDotCom just doesn't get it, I guess. Or...maybe he does this sort of thing to women. Let's hope not 'cause he's a good guy in my book so far.

I think you should definitely play it out and keep us all posted. Then when you end up married to the guy, you can show him your blog and you will both have a good laugh. = )

Chris, I love your take on the e-mail. And I have a little something for you: http://www.mehead.com/

PJ, don't misunderstand...I was NOT trying to meet this guy! I just thought the whole ordeal was bizarre.
