17 = odd number

Courtesy of Doug's good eyes (this would be funny if you knew he's nearly blind in one eye):

Apparently 15 m.p.h. is too slow and 20 m.p.h. is way too fast! Three of these signs can be found here. And that's my sexiness taking the picture, too! It also looks like I might need to ease up on the amount of weight or reps on the overhead presses I do.

On the way to OKC with Doug today, I read the first chapter of Goodnight Nobody. I'm way stoked about this book. I might even actually buy it. Well, if the author goes to Kansas City or DFW area on tour. Then I'll have a copy she can sign. Otherwise, I'll be content being #26 on the queue at the library.

The Wedding Crashers = 7.5/10. I was told by no less than 5 people that this movie "made them laugh so hard they nearly cried all the way through." Or something like that. Yes, parts were very funny, but it didn't live up my expectations. Next time when a movie makes you laugh that hard, tell me it was just ok. Then my expectations will be lower and I'll be blown away by the hilarity of the movie.

The Affair of the Necklace = 8.25/10. I have no idea how much of this is true. Even if it wasn't historically accurate, it was a good story. And it was the second Hilary Swank movie I saw this week. I didn't plan that, but I had to watch Million Dollar Baby quickly because it was on loan from a co-worker. I also didn't know that Adrian Brody was so built. It almost makes up for his...his...umm...well, have you seen him, right? Here and here are nice side views of what I'm talking about. I can't actually SAY it because I think I might transfer the respect that was stripped from Johnny Depp and put it in this guy. As far as I know, Adrien's a good guy, right?

Speaking of watching movies with the same person in them, in the last week I've seen three movies that up and comer Hayden Penettiere played in: Ice Princess, The Affair of the Necklace, and Racing Stripes. I didn't do this intentionally.

I heard that Wedding Crashers was tres disappointing. As for Adrian Brody, your links did not work...or at least not to anything remotely related to him. Why would you not love him? Isn't he the guy from "The Piano?" If so, he is awesome. Not your typical cookie cutter Brad Pitt wannabe (what IS it with Brad Pitt? I just don't see the attraction) but a real looking person with interesting features. Then again, I am mad for Ciaran Hinds, so what can you do?

17 - not just odd, it's prime :)

ET: Well, I guess my broken links will just have to inspire someone to go see a picture of his nose.

BK: You're so smart! I meant odd number to be used for a speed limit sign. Yours work, too.

That book does look good!
I like Jennifer Wiener.
Or at least I liked Good In Bed.
Of course, I got to listen to Aaron tease me about buying a book that said "Wiener" on it. Ah, adulthood.

Amanda Z, Tell Mr. Smarty Pants that it's pronounced like Wy-ner and NOT weener!

I have no clue, I've never heard it pronounced.
